They have arrived! We're talking about the Gulf Trout returning to the Laguna Madre to spawn. All these fish will be fat and the inside of the mouths will be bright yellow. A 15'' Trout from the Gulf can weigh 2 lbs. Live shrimp works the best on these fish. Live shrimp are plentiful right now and croaker are just around the corner. Red's and Drum are still being caught from the boat hole to the land-cut. 27'' to 32'' Trout are being caught in Baffin area.
